PS2 Region Locked?

Not so massive after all...

Well this news is a bit of a bummer. I haven't found any info on where the oceanic regions will be hooking up too, although I'd say it would be the U.S., but with the orginal game I never found ping to be an issue & the net has vastly improved since then.

If it's only US servers for us on an FPS I will probably still try it but I can't see the game being overly popular if this is the case, we all know people want the lowest ping possible for an FPS game even if most of the time the issue they face is CPU lag. Will be interesting though to see how this pans out Jello.

 

Well mate, Fods, Oz & a few of us, played the original & ping didn't seem to worry us that much at all.
