Hi all! Sarge is thinking about grabbing a copy of Brothers in Arms Hells Highway, and since I forgot his birthday 2 weeks ago (oh the pain.....) I've offered to buy it for him. Anyone else thinking about grabbing this game as well? I dont think its got tanks though...

From what i understand MB, It's pretty full on (as in yer the squad leader and must give orders and also you can call in Tank support). It's said to be historically accurate and is based on Operation Market Garden ( the area you play is the American part of capturing the bridges of Remargen and was nicknamed by the Yanks as Hells Highway
Also I believe everything in it is fully destructable
OK MB looks like you can drive Tanks:D and also (Don't tell CFod, He'll be heart broken:p:biglaugh:), you can kill Sheep
    Go here for Vids

Thanks Welshy. We grabbed two copies today. I really enjoy the single player, and you're right about it being very indepth. Commanding your own squad is pretty cool once you get used to it, even if it is only AI players.

The multiplayer seems very lacking at this stage, seeming like a sort of DOD:S type capture the flag. No deathmatch or TDM.

And yes... killing the sheep..... sorry CFodder;)

It's very much like the rainbow 6 Vegas series with the Dig in and squad functions, and the perfect HeadShot slow-mo is cool, and I also like the squad coments when you stick em in less than perfect cover. :)

Yep, very enjoyable single player for when Sarge doesnt want to shoot me on COD UO, or the Warhammer servers are laggy. And my favourite is still the SHEEP, BAAAAAAAA......:)

Finished the Tank stage, but must admit the Sniper on the root top is the part I've enjoyed the most, the Hit physics are pretty spot on
