    Dungeons and Dragons Online

    Hey guys,

Just a heads up that a few of us have jumped in feet first back into Dungeons and Dragons Online. It has been updated and a lot more content has been thrown into the mix. It is also currently following Turbines Free to Play model and is fairly well populated. (A lot more than what it used to be.)

Hicks has started a guild and we are currently on the server called: Ghallanda.

So if you feel like giving something new a try, or are bored with the same old thing, come and join us.

    Cheers,
    Med

Yup it's a bit of fun, I was up till just before midnight playing and having a ball, different style of game play and it brought back why I loved the game on release, the puzzles, voice overs and having to think about what to do in the dungeons prior to just blitzing through them.

I am waiting for Vampey or Beechey to get nailed by a life altering trap when they run off. I am going to soil myself from laughing when it happens.

After last nights efforts it wont be long before they do, Beechey running forward and hitting a switch without asking what does it do, this stuff in DnD gets you killed.

Might look into this again. I played a bit before, but didn't like the controls.

What kind of character are we lacking, in the group?

Yes Crim it is free to play now, you can purchase "Turbine Points" to buy gear and special items as well if you feel the need to do so, this week I've been staying up till around midnight playing the game with Meddie, Beechey and Vampey. I'm normally heading off at 10:30 otherwise. The game is a 4.3gig download and the patch after the game is installed takes around 2min and your in and playing.

DDO Download Regular Textures - Internode Mirror

I D/L'ed the client last night and installed this morning but didn't have time to run it to get the update. Will prolly do that tonight and jump in and have a look.

PS......I Luv Internode :) 4.3gb came down ata a fantastic pace and if it's from their site it's free and doesn't count towards monthly limit. Which is now 30GB but so far this month, thanx to Nodes free stuff, I've D/Led a total of about 78GB!! Also , the option of purchasing extra data blocks to maintain your speed if you do exceed the metered limit is fantastic! An extra few dollars for another 5gb is very handy:)

Let us know Fezza, the patch won't take long at all mate as it's really small, the party sizes in DDO are 6 as well, so it's nice grouping sizes :D
