Blue Screen Error?

OK, I 'thought' i went thru that backup procedure properly but yet again my rank has dropped back to 1. It's the second time it has happened & both times i left the game, pc reboots, rank gone. Just wondering if anyone has any idea of why this is happening & how i can fix it? Cheers. P.S. I'm no expert on such matters

 

Error Report Stated, "From a hardware device, driver or related software caused a Blue Screen Error." Im using XP.

 

Only had it bluescreen on exit once. Fortunately I didn't lose my rank. A few people have posted in the callofduty.com forums about the problem but there have been no solutions.

 

I had a couple of BSOD, I simply updated my GPU and cleared some room on my HD then done a full system scan and defrag and haven't had it since, although I still get lock-up now and again

 

There was a post I read somewhere about AMD CPU driver upgrades I read somewhere .... the Game is flawed in the hardware driver areas imo I still cannot exit the game without it hanging on a black screen until I ctrl + alt + del and get task manager to end it.

Back up the profile often imo is about all we can do till the issues are fixed in the next few patches.

I always utter a few words at the game when this happens "F***ing peice a f***ing shit....ffs why...oh way couldn't they get this crap sorted....grrrrrrr"

I have an Intel chip and I get that problem too Whack.
I have had BSOD a couple of times, I did not lose my rank though. It just reset the controls to default and changed my saved classes to Custom1 etc etc.

Not sure what caused the BSOD.

 

I think its all an evil plot to make you stay in game....Muhahhahhahaha
