25yr old mature gaming male looking to join

I suppose this is my application of sorts...

I am 25 years old, a parent of a 6 year old boy who enjoys playing Halo 3 with myself and my future brother in law. I am somewhat a professional college student, as I've been going to college/university since 2000 and have yet to decide on one major. I am taking Japanese II, Spanish I, and Politics of Philosophy next semester, and looking forward to it.

I reside in the middle of the United States; Wichita, Kansas to be specific. I know this grouping is from Australia, so feel free to call me a yank if you feel the need. I'm quite liberal in my perspectives on all things... maybe too liberal when it comes to our government (nearly a constitutional monarchy with ol' dub-ya Bush at the throne). So, by all means, make a moniker out of it! Besides, it's his fault that gasoline is 3.67 a gallon right now, and we're in a bit of a recession... but that's an awful tangent that I should leave alone for now unless someone "pokes the bear."

I'm a WoW player currently, a member of the Horde guild, recruited by Ufaa (I believe Dummy on here). I also have a PS3 and Wii in the house.

Hopefully, you all deem me worthy enough to accept this ramble of an application!

Of all the forums I've had the pleasure of joining, this one appears to be the friendliest, and most responsive towards new members.

I'm glad I got in, and will be using this medium quite often. I can actually access this site at work! Most social/gaming sites are blocked here. I can't even get on wowarmory here.

Also, it's cool to be the "other" American member! Hopefully, I'll be able to represent the states in a non-American type of way

I don't do math, but saying 80 cents a liter sounds a lot better than 3.70 a gallon!

the whole Aussie-US time change has got me all goofy on WoW. I think it's add 2 hours, then change the am to pm, or vise-versa. I guess I should learn server time!

I'll be WoW-ing this evening. I'm off of work at 5pm (I think 8am there?) and will prolly be playing for a while!
