1. Hi everyone! That's right! 9 years and still kicking! Happy 9th Birthday to OLDr! & all of it's members! Thanks to all of you members who stick around and give us a reason to keep this place alive! Without you it'd just be another dead forum and forgotten Community! Although the preferred games have changed over the years and regular posters changed too, the same spirit of fun & mate ship is still going strong here and we're grateful to all who call this their online home for making it so. Many thanks too to CFodder who really does just about everything to keep the place ship shape & functioning :) We hope you had a great Christmas & wish you all only the best in 2018! Cheers!

Helicorsa App 0.5

Handy app to show you who is around you when you are racing.

Let's begin with a little snip of some racing rules:

O-1: To obtain right of road position in a corner, the overtaker's car must have substantial overlap of the car that is being overtaken, before they reach the corner's turn-in point. Should the overtaking car not have enough overlap, the leading car may resume its racing line without fear of contact.

This is a very important agreement for both opponents, but I am left with a question here:
Without at least a 180° FoV triple screen setup or some oculus rift - how should anybody be able to judge this? Many of us are really struggeling with this. - clean - racers want to race as close and fair as possible. You may shout "simcarde!" now, but this might be a little helper for us.

    What is this app?
Just a little radar of an aerial perspective, so you can see what's going on around your car:

You can't see the red abarth to the right, or even judge where exactly he is - nor if he "earned his position due to substantial overlap".
