I recently brought the DVD set and have been watching it again, been really lazy since my mate sat me down and made me watch it years ago, but it's a show I instantly loved. Such a pity it did only go for one season and I wished they stayed true in the movie, I loved there being no sound in space when the ship was moving around, it was small details like that, that made it a winner.

The movie was good I agree, just some little things that annoyed me, Wash, Book and there being sound in the battle that happened in space, but being a movie they probably needed that for the masses :)

I ordered it online through ezydvd.com.au mate, easier for me that way as we don't have any JB-HiFi etc up this way.

Bluray version is out btw. Someone told me that the special effects were all made at standard tv resolution, so the benefits of bluray is not that great in that area. However seeing the Companion in 1080p would be worth the price of admission ;)

Yeah I felt the same mate, apparently they tried to justify it by saying there was sound because the battle took place in the ion cloud around the planet. i.e. there was enough gases in the area to generate sound... I think it's a bit of a far stretch though :p

Oh and, you're welcome, Hicky ;)

By the way, that intro is awesome, it's so 80s it's ludicrous lol I love it!
