COD2 Event tonight

Guys,

I know this is about as short notice as you can get, but we're having a "TOG v Rest" night tonight at 8pm AEDT, and I'd be more than happy if you guys want to come along.

We're doing this to drum up support not for TOG, but the game of COD2 itself.

It will be TOG one side, anyone else who comes along on the other. Win or lose for us, it doesnt matter. I couldnt care if we get decimated. What I'm hoping for is a sense of community with COD2 players from all walks of life. Its just for fun. It might be a close game, we might get totally smashed. But the whole point is to get people back into COD2 and get them talking to each other instead of squabbling, accusing, namecalling and the rest that can happen, and we know it does from time to time.

Its time to put any shit between various clans and public players to bed. I know there a varying history between clans, but I think we should be aiming to put that aside....we're all here for the same reason, and every player, clan or not, deserves the due respect that anyone should get (unless of course someones disrespecting first) because at the end of the day, its a game, we play games for fun, we meet people who like the same game.

I'd like to think that a completely new leaf was turned over when I took on the leadership role with TOG, and one of my goals was exactly this, I dont turn to the past to judge players, I judge them on the "there and then", and thankfully most players are friendly and respectful when given similar treatment off the bat from us. The past is exactly that, no point dwelling on it, no point referring back to it. The way I see it, the future of COD2 starts now.

Take the offer as you wish, I'm just inviting you guys along for the sake of getting along within the COD2 community.

Remember, its on at 8pm AEDT (or 7pm if you live in the greatest state in the universe, QLD)

Additionally if you would like to add me to xfire for just a chat in general, your more than happy to do so, got all the time in the world for fellow COD2 players.

P.S. If you guys decide to put on an event like this or similar, and you need more COD2 players, I'd be more than happy to set the time aside, and if needed I can drum up some of our division members if you want.

Thanks for your gestures guys, if you cant get it loaded for tonight, I'm hoping this could become a regular thing, so if you dont make tonights, we'll let you know when we're ready to have another one.
