Call of duty Black Ops - PS3 version

Hey guys and gals, missus is after birday pressie ideas and I was thinking COD:BO but haven't heard the best reviews for the PC version, most saying it's just another console port, that being said I was thinking about goin for the PS3 version of the game, as it is just a console port anyway.
Has anyone got it on console? if so whats it like? Or would I be best just goin for the PC version anyway?

I have played it on both PS3 and xbox, Honestly I still prefer the PC version, if you have a decent system then you wont have to many problems with the game.

as for being a console port that is basically true which is why the game has had so many bugs on PC as alot of the stuff wasnt designed for lower end PC's in mind, the gameplay you cant really tell has been ported as much as most console ports.
