If you do play any RTS though Rogue yell out what you do play, we play a couple of different ones and I can see a few people in OLDr getting SC2 so I am sure some games will be up to muck around in :D I also think Welshie and a couple of the other guys play Rome Total war as well.

nah i dont play any other RTS atm. The only strategy game i play atm is Civ which is turned based cos im sad and lose my guys alot :( but that said i am looking for something different to play so might hook up with SC2 - have heard it will be pretty awesome.

Just checked and we have it at work but still even if I was to take it today I couldn't install until tomorrow as that is the release date, they would and more than likely would ban games installed and registered before the release date.

I will see if I am going to get it, I wasn't a fan of the first one till later on, but that was because I think I was Zerg rushed.

Hiya Rogue, yeah I just worked out who you are, you "Wicked" girl::)

I used to play a bit of CIV as well, but gave up after Sarge (a complete CIV noob btw) thrashed me at our first match. I havent played since.

I'm thinking about getting SC2 tomorrow, even if its only for the single player campaigns. Blizzard do tell a very good story :)

From what I have been told, the single player campaign will have expansions. So its not complete atm.

Only a few hours in, but the game play from sc1 have not been altered much (if any - its been a while since I last touched sc1). The graphics are better, as you would expect, and there are some new units. No gameplay bugs found as yet.

Massive number of players on battle.net atm. ~480 sc2 games in the oceanic region, 7500 games worldwide.

Pity there are no JB Hifi anywhere near me, I looked at my cost and they are selling it under cost so grab it if you can guys from them, I have to wait till payday to get the game but if people are enjoying it I may grab it.

Question, are all 3 races playable? At one stage each race was going to be released as a separate component and you would have to buy all 3, I never followed changes after this so interested to see what's happened.
