Il2 Pilots needed...

I was look at this on Steam the other day and wasn't sure if it was still played or not, I know the game was pretty good in the day and I haven't played a flight sim in a while, so I would suckorz at it, but I would make good bait

 

I haven't played it and have heard it's bloody complicated to get into. That been said tho I do like a good flight sim so I will definitely get it when I have some more funds on the CC .

Also, we have had a forum for this in the past which has been retired, if we get enough interest that can be reconstituted .

 

I have it, Have a joystick, but had trouble getting into the air So I gave up!!

Hey they can teach us all to fly guys, then we can have an OLDr flight wing

 

We'd prob be too busy flying into each other or the ground lol .

 

Have 're-animated' our original forum back under OLDr Games, have a look at some of the posts there and there's some good links from Chippo on the game.

If anyone wants to put some more stuff up then feel free.

 

Here's a note, don't try and use a game pad..... I stalled the plane 3 times and ended up in the drink, wouldn't let me bank and roll.

 

Should be able to see them now.

 

Have the game & a joystick. Think I'll be up for an OLDr Squadron It's not that hard to get flying & have some fun, set your realsim settings to something simpler, should do the trick.

 

I need a power cord for my Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 sitting at home, it's gone missing and sadly enough we do not have any controllers at work, I checked this morning. If I can get one for it I will have a go tonight crashing into stuff. Now being new to this game, are we able to say, have some pilots in bombers on a mission while the others fly fighter escort? That's something I have always wanted to do, man I used to love flying the B17 in Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe.
