    I expect this game to put a dent into WoW subscribers. Probably not a WoW-killer, but definitely will get a following.

    Ive managed to get my hands on a beta key that will give you access to the remaining Beta events prior to launch March 1. Next Beta starts 4am Wednesday the 26th!

    The videos (even in HD) do not do justice to the beauty of this game. It is truly immersive.

    I played in the last Beta and it is spectacularly awesome!!!! Its very similar WoW with MUCH better graphics and a unique 'Rift' system that makes the world very dynamic.

    I am a 4 night a week Cata raider in WoW, but Im not sure if that will last come Rift launch March 1.

    I'm gonna give this a crack as well. Just applied the key, hopefully it doesn't take too long to receive the invitation email.

    [edit] didn't take too long at all - 15 minutes! 7.45 Gb of client is downloading...
    would like to try this out with you other OLDrs, so hit me up on steam or TS when you log in.

    Well I must say, I have been smashing this game the last 24 hours, I mean SMASHING it, was up till 4am this morning playing it and having a ball, one of my favorite parts so far is the Rifts themselves, everyone gets in there to close them and have some fun, I did see at least 4 groups not including ours last night, that means 80 other people all in the one area, man it was a lot of fun. Another video to be put up later though, still encoding :D

    Oh on a side note, I like this game that much I have Pre-ordered it and set myself up for 6month Subscription too.

    Good to see your enjoying it :) Im pretty sure this will spell the end of WoW for me once its released. I havent had much chance to play this Beta as I have interstate visitors here atm, but am looking forward to release!!

    I pre-ordered the collector's edition quite a while ago, and will prob do the 6 month sub too. Its good value!

    Does look good, I've been watching the development of Rift on MMORPG.com, but the only thing is Rift is just another fantasy MMO & there are bucket loads of them out there, some good some crap & some are F2P & still more coming, I need a change of scene from the fantasy genre me thinks, PlanetSide Next, Tribes Universe or Star Wars the Old Republic are that something different I'm waiting for.

    Have been enjoying this game too. It seems to take the better bits from various MMOs and throws them together quite nicely. Next beta is Feb 4 - 7 i believe.

    The team is made up of people from most of the other MMO's as well, so they have brought there own things to the game, very polished from what I played, looking forward to the next Beta and the release.

    Iam leaving wow and my 8 lvl 85 chars for this game been playing the beta its great will be playing on Briarcliff pvp server Unofficial
    oc pvp server lvling a warden/shammy/purifier and loving it anyone else going to play ? Ing Ecorn

    I will be playing it yes Axe, Not sure what server names will be used once it's live though but we should put something up prior to all rolling toons, we are looking at a PVP server as well and probably Defiance (horde).

    and vampey ill be lvling me warden again so u may need to take a picnic and some mates to kill me lol
    last war front i was lvl 19 and tanked 5 guys until the horn kill me lol

    I will more than likely be rolling both Factions, first toon I rolled was a Guardian, but I do like the starting quests a lot more for Defiance, should be two more Beta's before release as well, if people are in it, we need to get together, I don't think toons will be wiped, I have a 22 warrior DPS and 20 Cleric healer on Gnarlwood I think the shard was, we got to run a dungeon and had a blast in there, seems really well set out and fun.
