    Rainbow 6: Vegas 2

We again have some more interest in Rainbow 6 with CFodder, Ambush and now Jello having the game, and we've discovered Cool has it as well as Joker. So we have a nice little group with the game, so I thought I would make things a little easier for the new players and upload the two map packs and the full patch in one location.

Rainbow 6 - 1.03 Patch (Only needed if you have a CD/DVD version of the game, Steam not required)

    R6Vegas Gift Map Pack

    R6Vegas Comcast Map Pack

With any luck this will help you guys out a bit and getting online ASAP, Also if I am running the server the PW will change to the standard OLDr one as of now.

DL'ing now from steam so it should be patched. I'll need the map packs though right?

I brought this on my old system through Steam, it failed to work.

Works just fine on my new machine... I just suck at it...

I have this on Steam, and have never had any problems with it working. It was just a little jumpy due to my video card, IIRC.

Had a lash last night with Hicks, Joker, Coll & Vampy & it's a lot of fun & even ran a server with just Vampy & myself. It's a great game, graphics are great considering it's a few years old & the gameplay is simply awesome. It is no way like many FPS's, you must play the game tactically or you will die, it's all about teamwork & covering each others back.

Nice video. Looks like y'all got trapped and circled, even though you were doing everything by the book.

Would have been better if Jello and I were still alive, my problem was I fast roped into the building and Jello shot me from up top while I was taking out the enemy. (Bastard) I might get a server running on the weekend from home for some Versus mode if people are keen, I need to talk to Zeddie about trialing a server for a few days if possible, but it would be say, Attack and Defend which alternates depending on the map between rescuing hostages or blowing stuff up, as Vampey found out by defending the hostages, if you shoot them you lose Exp :D

LMAO that was funny. Great game though & getting the hang of it, as I've been playing some of the story this morning, which is also really good.

Story mode rocks mate, It's much better though if someone joins you for it, it's so much fun. I have to say the AI in this game is probably the best I have seen in a game, they won't just blindly attack through a door that you have a bead on, they will go around and attack from a window, a door and so forth, the more you have on your team in Terrorist hunt the better, having that max 4 players means if there is 3 entry points you have 3 to cover and 1 as backup, if 4 you have 4 points covered, it's awesome fun!

    Things to be aware of:
    1. Joker and grenades
    2. Jello shooting you in the back
    3. Vampey running across your line of fire
    4. Cool going to get a drink and not telling you (Doing a Tails)
    5. Welshie doesn't know what "silence" means
    6. CFods plays for one or two rounds and then has to go change his jocks.
    7. Hicks, ie me, getting the shit scared out of him when someone spawns in front.

Silence is for Pussies.....A few rounds from the SAW and then there's no need to go looking for the terrorists.....they come to You...now that's what I call efficiency :D
It's also good if You name someone the "Black Ops Leader" that way when the Sh!t does hit the fan, You can all blame Him:laugh::rolleyes:

Had a couple of good runs last night again with 3 of us, Pentu was installing it but he went to play COD2 I think. Vampey and Joker realized that if they listened to instructions they got more kills too, but we lost Vampey when he went down a rope and got hammered as I had to fall back, getting shot at from 3 directions so it was "tactical movement" time (fancy terms for running away). It shows with most of the maps you really need 4 people, at one stage I was trying to cover 3 entry points and it just doesn't work, but oh so much fun!
