Hello, I would like to join this community as I am looking for a friendly and relaxed community to play Assetto Corsa, Insurgency, Red Orchestra, and Battlefield. I am 16 years of age and I live Australia.

Is there any way to play on the AC servers without being a member? because so far the public servers seem to be unpopulated.

 

Hi Major, We are currently having a minor issue with the AC Servers in that because of the way Kunos have built the multiplayer system, with the Servers you have 2 modes, Booking Mode and Pickup Mode and they work as follows, I'll try and keep this as short as possible!

Booking mode - Allows Circuit Rotation
You can only join the server during the booking phase of the server, which in our case sis about 2 minutes, as we found much more than this adds too long a delay between circuits, and people were starting to get bored and lose interest if this was longer, for a player to join the server during Practice, Qualifying or the Race that players details have to be pre allocated to a car in the Entry List, See here http://onlinedawdlers.com/index.php?threads/player-info-for-pre-loading-the-server.60762/ let us know this info so we can add you, So this is what we have done, unfortunately we now have 26 players including yourself that want in... most of the Kunos tracks have a maximum of 24 pit boxes except Magione which has 18 and Vallelunga 22, you cannot have more pre allocated cars or max players on the server than the circuit has pit boxes.

Pickup Mode - Single Circuit Only
In Pickup mode you use the Entry List to allocate cars, but do not allocate a specific player to each car, so any player ca join this type of server at any time, but at the moment you cannot have this mode with circuit rotation. as soon as Kunos implement Circuit rotation for Pickup mode, Which I do not think they are planning, we will be good!

So currently we are trying to work out the best way forward with this.

Not to worry, I will open up a slot on the Server that anyone can join, that way all you have to do is be there for one of the booking sessions before Qualifying starts and you will be able to join during the Booking Phase
