Only been one FEAR so far, probably the first one then the standalone MP? speaking of which, I need to get that again. Great vid clip, but I am betting this gets banned from Aussie shores till they work out issues again due to retarded politicians.

Ironically I was looking at GoodGame
Great Show on ABC gives VERY good reviews on games.

There last session was talking about "R18" and they did an interview with the Comity that classes games..

I found out I had FEAR Combat still on my system, god damn it runs smooth on this rig compared to the old 1.7 and the dual core. Everything is at max and shit, cant get over it, fast paced game but laggers and cheaters seem to be an issue with the game, got overseas players joining and everyone starts to whinge and kick them. Oh well, bit of fun :)

    • DirectX 9.0C compatible sound card
    • DVD Player

I have watch the trailer and like the look of it....at the time I didn't understand why the game faultered so much its fun and a great game imo... I played it at lans and a little online but now I would have to agree the degree of leet Hackers did ruin the game.

There was Extraction Point, then Perseus Mandate, as well as F.E.A.R combat for those of us that simply wanted the MP game.

My son has all of them & I even played FEAR Combat & still do every now & then.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin - A Demonic Demo available Friday

Everything we hear about F.E.A.R. 2 keeps getting better and better, now they've recovered from that pesky little banning issue. Not only are we getting the game on February 13th, but we're also getting a shiny new console demo release for PS3, Xbox 360 and the humble PC starting this week!

That's right, starting Friday January 23rd, a playable demo for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin will be made available via Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network - as well as a local PC copy that you'll be able to download at your leisure.

So - if you want to know a bit more about what's in store when Alma returns, now's your chance. The demo promises a sneaky peek at the terror, action and suspense that you'll get plenty more of in the full game - while giving you an opportunity to navigate through bloody hallways and corridors as featured in various ingame locations. Try out combat in several different parts of the city of Auburn, ruined after the catastrophic explosion that finished out our first adventure with F.E.A.R..

The highly-anticipated sequel to 2005's smash hit F.E.A.R. is full of the signature blend of seamless game pacing plus advanced visceral combat, set inside a sinister, paranormal universe. It starts just before the ending of the original game, and sees a Special Forces squad carrying out a routine mission as the city is blown apart by a supernatural explosion. Alma is a gifted child, who boasts immense power blended with a terrifying thirst for revenge, and has unleashed her wrath upon the city, throwing it into chaos. Your task: combat enemy forces (and the supernatural) as you struggle to find a way to stop Alma and uncover the mysterious forces put up against you - before it's too late.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin - Grab the demo, get scared

Well now, looks like the F.E.A.R. 2 demo is out a little earlier than anticipated, I thought we'd have a few hours breathing space but no - Alma's back, and she's ready for action. Who are we to argue?

Run, don't walk, and grab the brand new 1.75GB playable demo that is happily nestled in our File Library. While it's downloading, why don't you take a peek at our exclusive video interview we ran earlier today, or perhaps have a browse through some of the new screenshots we added!
