I'm hoping this works out..... I'll reserve judgment until I can play a demo.

It is an adaptation of the Games Workshop board game from the 80's. Cyanide is the studio developing it , they also created similar title in 2004, which got them into a little bt of trouble with Games Workshop. It would appear they have now settled their differences.

new video trailers are up and they indicated a release date

"Just to give you an update on the release date.
Blood Bowl is now scheduled for Q2 2009 (read: June). I'm already hearing many of you screaming, but this is the best release date if we want to have a perfectly finished product."

My brothers I believe used to play this back in the day, I'd only heard of it from them talking about it all as they were into this stuff where I was spending more time outside playing sports etc, now I spend more time inside on the PC :) Will see how it all goes, but I am betting my brothers will be into this in a big way.
