1. Hi everyone! That's right! 9 years and still kicking! Happy 9th Birthday to OLDr! & all of it's members! Thanks to all of you members who stick around and give us a reason to keep this place alive! Without you it'd just be another dead forum and forgotten Community! Although the preferred games have changed over the years and regular posters changed too, the same spirit of fun & mate ship is still going strong here and we're grateful to all who call this their online home for making it so. Many thanks too to CFodder who really does just about everything to keep the place ship shape & functioning :) We hope you had a great Christmas & wish you all only the best in 2018! Cheers!

Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures

Is there any feedback on how good the Age of Conan game is expected to be? Apparently there there are beta keys out there somewhere.

I like the look of this one but may hold out for the WarHammer MMO instead, theres nothing like running around with a BFG as a Kick arse Space Marine :D

Warhammer isn't that good, I've been in the Beta for a while and just can't get into the game. I know it's not a finished product but still hard to find that Groove, Conan seems to interest me more and I am keenly awaiting that one. Also the Stargate MMO interests me a lot :D

I think Conan has too limited appeal for todays gaming market, unless you grew up with the books :D or at the very least saw Arnie doing his bit then I cant see al ot of gamers leaving the safety of established titles. I will continue to keep an eye on it and would love to hear more about it Hicks (of course after the NDA has been lifted :) )

SGW now that is probably a whole different kettle of fish , I do want to see this one up close and personal :)

Conan's main interesting feature is when you walk into a Tavern, everyone is reduced to the same lvl of skill with no weapons, this is so you can have fights in the pub and everyone can join in the fun. I just hope this is being left in the game :D

Mate I think the Spacial Edition sold out about a month before release, it's already broke the record for Pre-order for any game release......

No we had 2 in store, no pre-orders on them at all. I did pick up the last 2 normal ones today for me and Tails. Love staff prices :D
