You do know You can't use your billion dollar wheel with this, You need a joystick, and that's not the joystick you play with every Sunday (while you should be racing) while sitting in Yer tinny that's in the swimming pool:p

    Shut up you!!!!!!!

I got it & had a bash at one of the tutorials (using my Saitek Pro X52 Yes a joystick Pinhead :p). It's a very in depth sim, you need to start the electrical system, fire up engines, shut the canopy etc... lots of detail :).

Yes reports / reviews are that it is very realistic and as you say in depth, I have it downloaded now just need to find the spare hours and hours to play it ;)

It is amazingly detailed, to start up the A-10C takes about 7 minutes from flicking the first switch to rolling off of the ramp, you have to wait for the NAV system to align! there are of course some sp missions that start with you at the end of the runway ready to go as well.
It is a study some, so all the systems are realistically modelled.
I thoroughly enjoy it, have been playing it since Black Shark 1 and he A-10C first came out and I am still learning!
Lots of DLC to buy (if you want) otherwise you get a free SU-25 and a P-51TF which you can spend hours crashing! And with the base game (DCS World) you can join MP servers if you so wish, can Recommend the AEF 161 server (The clan I joined solely to play this) nice bunch who will gladly help you out any time you have any questions. :)

It's been a very long time since I've played such a detailed flight sim, going to enjoy it :). Will have to look at some of the DLC, used to play Janes AH64 Longbow a lot & Gunship, which was detailed like this, so thinking the Black shark & Huey will be good value add-ons.

Great stuff flying nap of the earth, pop the radar just over the top of a hill, get lock & boooommm!

Will have the check out that server Goldie, used to lan AH64 with my Father-in-law, who works for the Navy on the Seaking (now out of service) & Seahawk simulator. Was great fun, you could fly separate choppers or go pilot & gunner.

Multiple user aircraft is on the list for DCS, so you will be able to have two players in different seats in the same aircraft, don't know when it will happen though.
