I grabbed Doom yesterday from gamingdragons.com for $40US ($2.8 billion AU), wondering if anyone else has it? I played some co-op with my brother this arvo and quite enjoyed it. The graphics are pretty slick too, I think this is the first time I've purchased an AAA title that I've been able to run at max settings without a poor frame rate. YAY!

Don't you have 980ti ? Tho I do hear its well optimised even 780 sli seems to work well ( steam forum reports )

But alas I don't have it looks cool tho , I'm only interested in the SP side so I'll wait abit

I made a rule a while ago I won't pay over $20 Aud for any game I'm only gonna play single player. I'll get fallout one of these days lol

I would like to get it as well myself, I am not sure how much of the Co-Op is there though, maybe you could fill us in? Is it Co-Op campaign or just like a Demon hunt? I am not a fan of the Multiplayer as I was in the beta, I wanted SP or Co-Op for that.

It doesn't look like there is co-op in the campaign, which I'm very disappointed about. Imo that's what co-op should be. The co-op is available on Snapmaps which are custom maps, they can be 1-4 players. This appears to be all PvE.

There are about 7-8 PvP multiplayer modes an you can build squads with friends before jumping in. There appears to be a lot of player customization available though quite a bit through unlocks.

You can only carry 2 guns in the snapmaps I played though it looks like there may also be an accessory item slot. Guns can have a secondary fire mode, in campaign it needs to be unlocked but I'm not sure how it works in snap or pvp modes.

That's about all I have for the 30 minutes I played. Snap is quite fun and I'll give pvp a go later when my suckyness reduces a little.

Yeah the MP had a lot of changes you could make to the characters and set up the way you wanted weapon and suit colours, plus with the weapons it was only 2 per setup, I didn't like the MP myself as I find PVP boring a lot of the time with Quake/UT style games, I was hoping for a Co-Op campaign mode, but seeing it's lacking the game is now off my list, I will go play some Aliens: Colonial Marines (With the fan made patch). Thanks for the heads up Wyspr

I hope they add co-op campaign later, but I'll have to wait and see I guess.

The MP of the game I don't go much on, but the SP side is where its at co-op campaign would be good if they add it in later snapmaps I have not had a go at yet
