Hey fella's. Recently started playing AC - have seen your rooms online which lead me here! Been sim racing for 6yrs i guess - GT5/6 and iracing until the penality system blew the top of my head off. Currently race with RaceonOz (ROOZ) but noticed this is a Kiwi based forum - the time difference for Aus racing can mean some really late nights and i'm getting a little long in the tooth for that. Anyway hoping to hook up with some local boys for some excellent sim racing. Cheers

It is normally due to there being a mismatch between your local content and the server content! I updated the Server files from my PC the other day which should have fixed it! but obviously not! will take a look later when I get home from work, Which server? Coffee Table or Lay-Z-Boy?
Unfortunately it is not with modded content, Where Kunos have put out the Dedicated Server as a Steam Tool they are not always keeping the content updated in both repositories and so there is occasionally a mismatch between servers that have been updated using the Steam Tool not files copied from the Client version, obviously there is still an issue somewhere, which maybe to do with the skins we are using or some other issue. On the AC Forum it is noted there is often an issue with Imola, will check it out. Might get you to give me some info from you if I find the problem. Cool - thanks for that. Will hopefully see you online. Still getting my head around how AC works ..let me know if i have to do something with my setup to get rid of that "checksum" issue. PS: probably won't be on much this weekend as i've got to finish off a GT6 league race -- then it's time to put the PS3 to sleep (poor thing)
One thing worth doing is Verifying the Integrity of your Game Cache for AC to do this Open Steam Right Click Assetto Corsa in the Library Games list On the Pop Up Menu click Properties In the window that opens click on the Local Files tab at the top Then click on Verify Integrtity of Game Cache... Steam will then check all the game files and download replacements for any that are not correct. Don't know if that will fix it, but worth doing anyway.
