well i'm gripping my joystick with pure excitement and thrusting back on my joystick in a stimulating climb for the sky.
as long as there is a dedicated server.not like the first games i would be interested in clutching my joystick again

Gameplay wise, any of Ubisofts IL series has been great. About time they made one concentrating on the Battle of Britain :)

Spitfire.... Must have Spitfire, shoot down Scrowy, I don't care if he is on the same side, must TK Scrowy. Haven't played much in the way of flight sims in years, I got IL2 but not many played it and finding a server was a pain in the arse, so might get this one and bust out the Cyborg joystick :D

This does look good. Would be awesome to get an OLDR squad together and have some good dogfights. I need to get my P38J and P51stang outta the hangar for some flight time[IMG]

I would still love a game where we could say fly a B17 bomber, and have someone flying it and other members manning the guns, this would be the ultimate in team work, would need good communication esp if you had other players in fighters trying to shoot you down, oh how I miss Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, loved doing the bomber missions in that.

Agree Hicksy which is why I'm looking forward to the German missions in the Stuka. Pilot and gunner will be alot of fun.

I've no doubt they will open up the Heinkel 111 as a flyable bomber later on.
They are certainly in the game, it would just be a case of drawing the interior.....

I would probably have you flying Welshie, I've seen you try and shoot things that are moving, it doesn't seem to work for you :D

LMAO, well Welshie, Ned & I used to play Pacific Fighters (same makers of IL series) online against each other & some of our battles would end up in just games of chicken with both of us flying at each other guns blazing & the boom, we'd collide.

B17 The Mighty 8th was a game were you could fly the bomber, be the bombadier or man any of the guns, but it was only single player. You could also man any of the enemy aircraft & I'll tell ya Hicksie, manning the guns & having BF109s & ME110's strafing you, the game was that good with the effects, noise, fires could start, crew getting wounded, it really made you feel what they did in the real thing.

Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe was single player as well, you could fly the B17 and then switch to all the guns if you liked which was awesome, I loved being able to fly the Go229 and Me262 :D

The last time I saw Welshie fly was when he knifed someone in BC2 whilst they both jumped off a wall.

    Who was that Case?

Oh that's right it was you. :)

He seemed fly pretty good then it was the landing that was a problem.
